New Sentinel-2A Spectral Response Functions

19 Dec 2017
A new version of the Sentinel-2A spectral response functions has been released.

These updated Sentinel-2A spectral responses are mainly changing the responses for bands B01 and B02, and they correct inaccurate spectral responses provided previously.

The new spectral response functions are applicable since the beginning of the mission, and they will be used by the Level-1 ground processing from 15 January 2018 (including any reprocessed products).

Users are recommended to update all processors that are using these spectral responses (e.g. atmospheric correction algorithms or any geophysical processor).

The new Sentinel-2A spectral response functions are available in the Sentinel-2 MSI Document Library as an XLS file: S2-SRF version 3.0.
