An unplanned maintenance of the Sentinels data distribution infrastructure has been required starting 26 September 11:49 UTC, resulting in a downtime of the Data Hub Services associated to:
- Open Access Hub (including API Hub, S-2B and S-3A PreOps services)
- Collaborative Data Hub Node 1
- Copernicus Services Data Hub
- International Access Hub
All services are expected to be restored by 18:00 UTC.
The products publication is temporarily delayed of more than 24 hours. The backlog will be gradually recovered following the restoration of the services.

With reference to the news published on 30 August, users are here informed that since 05 September morning, Sentinel-2A/2B products are again nominally available in the data hubs.
The recovery of the Sentinel-2A/2B products missing in specific time windows since 1 August (see corresponding news) will start as soon as possible. Users will be kept informed of the progress.

As from 4 September 2017, the Copernicus Data Hub Service provides a catalogue view of the products published on the Open Access Hub in the form of comma-separated values (CSV) files. It corresponds to the Non Time Critical (NTC) production also published through the Collaborative Data Hub, the Copernicus Services Data Hub and the International Access Hub services.

Referring to the news of 11 August , users are informed that the contingency issue occurred at Matera has been solved and nominal Sentinel-2A/B production was restarted yesterday 16 August in the early afternoon.
An inventory of the missing production is being consolidated and all impacted S2A/B L1C products will be recovered in the coming weeks, together with the ongoing recovery of missing products between 1st and 8th August as reported in the news of 09 August .

As a consequence of a ground segment contingency occurred at Matera station, the publication of Sentinel-2 products in the data hubs is temporarily interrupted as of today 11 August. The anomaly is under investigation and the data dissemination is expected to resume by mid of next week.

Referring to the news of 4 August (https://colhub.copernicus.eu/news/News00114), we are pleased to inform users that the anomaly occurred in the Svalbard processing chain on the 1st August has been solved and nominal Level-1 production was restarted yesterday 8 August at around 16:00 UTC.
An inventory of the missing production between 1st and 8th August is being consolidated and all missing S2A/B Level-1C products will be recovered within a couple of weeks.

Major Upgrade of the Collaborative Node2 Hub (27-July-2017)

There is a major upgrade of Node 2 of the Collaborative Data Hub, replacing the current access from https://colhub.esa.int/dhus.
The new node 2 hub will be opened on 27-July-2017 and is to be accessed via https://colhub2.copernicus.eu/dhus.
The new node will provide access to Sentinel-1A, -1B NRT and NTC data flows as well as the Sentinel-2A L1C whilst also being prepared for the publication of Sentinel-3A and -2B following the summer.
The previous node 2 address (https://colhub.esa.int/dhus) will continue to operate with the current data flows for a period of 4 weeks to allow for the transition. All of the current user accounts on colhub.esa.int will be available on the new node 2.

Release of Sentinel-2B products on Open Hub

Following the successful completion of the Sentinel-2B Satellite In-Orbit Commissioning Phase, we are happy to announce that access to Sentinel-2B Level-1C products will be opened to all users on 6 July .
Access to Sentinel-2B products will initially be provided through a dedicated hub accessible via the Copernicus Open Access Hub home page with public credentials. This dedicated interface will be maintained until early September, at which point both Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B products will be commonly accessible through the nominal Data Hub interfaces.

Sentinel-2A MSI decontamination between 7 and 9 July 2017

A routine decontamination activity of the Sentinel-2A MSI is planned over a continuous period of approximately 24-hours between 17:40 07/07/2017 and 17:00 08/07/2017 UTC.
During this time window no MSI acquisition will take place. Correlated calibration activities will be performed around the decontamination that will further affect the acquisition plan between 05:40 07/07 and 08:40 09/07 UTC.
